Two random college students with stories, jokes, and occasionally shocking revelations.

A Little More About Nida

Nida is a rising fourth-year (take that, American school-year norms) at McGill University in Montreal, which you can find in the frigid francophone wasteland known as Quebec, or the land that God forgot and gave to the French, who summarily said “screw this” and left it to become part of what is now Canada. She’s majoring in global warming appreciation, with minors in both run-on sentences and 90s music.

At a deadly 5’0″, this Pakistani-American from a family of 7 and a household of 11 was birthed in a convenient environment of sheer genius (7-11, get it?). Obsessed with politics, being competitive at trivial and mundane activities, and no mercy martial arts films, she’s a woman of eclectic interests.  Armed with a questionable sense of humor and a vocabulary the size of Derrida’s ego, she aims to entertain with stories from her home life, critiques of pop culture, and random musings for the sheer pleasure of seeing her words up in a pretty typeface on the computer screen.

Her side of the blog is mainly an outlet for the opinions that she can’t get people to listen to for longer than the wait in line at Rite-Aid when she’s buying toothpaste. So read it, eat it, hate it, comment on it, squeegee your screen,  whatever fits your fancy and makes you happy as long as you print out, underline, highlight, and memorize pertinent passages for quizzes every Friday on whatever she decides to talk about during the week. Bonus points if you find out which parts of what she’s saying she actually believes in.

  1. This is friggin great hahaha
