Gavin is a junior (take that, British English) at Princeton University, where he is the undisputed champion of eating a lot of ice cream. He plans on majoring in math, minoring in Guitar Hero: World Tour, and achieving a certificate in not making his bed.
Basically, I was sitting ’round watching Flight of the Conchords when Nida called me. After I finished watching the episode of Flight of the Conchords, which was pretty good I guess, not that great really, not nearly as good as the second episode of the second season or most of the first season, I called her back. The transcript of our conversation follows:
Nida: How do we know that this Strider is a friend of Gandalf?
Gavin: We have no choice but to trust him.
Nida: But where is he leading us?
Gavin: Sure, I’ll start a blog with you! That sounds like fun. What will we write about?
At this point the phone went dead, and we will probably never be able to communicate again. Pity.
Anyway, I pride myself on being unpredictable, and usually end up being predictable in my unpredictability, which is a shame. I love game theory, root beer, saying “oats”, playing video games with my roommate, and many more things. I hate milk. I hope I am better at Harry Potter trivia than anyone I know, because I’ve certainly wasted enough time on it. I can’t do a Rubik’s Cube. I love math but I hate shapes. Friggin’ shapes. Right now it’s midnight and I’m out of good ideas for what to say about myself. I think I’ll go find something to have an opinion about.
Enjoy, if for some reason you find one or both of us interesting enough to read about.
